Makale gönderme

·       Dergiye gönderilecek yayınlar öncelikle internet ortamında “online” olarak gönderilmelidir. Ayrıca,  E-posta şeklinde veya posta ile gönderilebilir.  

·       E posta ile; Yayın gönderecekler elektronik ortamda;

Sayın Editör, Cerrahi Sanatlar Dergisinde yayınlanmak üzere göndermiş olduğumuz “……… ………… ………… ………… ………….” isimli makalenin her türlü bilimsel, etik ve hukuki sorumluluğunu kabul ediyoruz. Sunulan yazı “Yazarlara bilgi” kısmındaki kurallara uygun olarak hazırlanmıştır.

ifadelerini içeren bir mail mesajı ve yapılan çalışma bölümlerini ayrı başlıklar halinde (Resimler, şekiller, tablolar ve metin dosyaları) eklentiler (file attachment) olarak editor@cerrahisanatlardergisi.com adresine gönderilmelidir.

·       Alternatif olarak,  posta ile gönderilen makaleler de kabul edilecektir. Makale ve ekleri üç nüsha olarak ve CD ortamında yazılmış olarak gönderilmelidir. Adres: PK:113   54100    Sakarya

Yazarlara bilgi

·       Dil

Derginin resmi dili Türkçedir. İngilizce yazılmış makaleler de kabul edilir. Türkçe makalelerde güncel ve sade Türk Dili Yazım kurallarına uygun kelime ve cümleler kullanılmalıdır.  İngilizce makaleler de İngilizce gramer kurallarına, uluslararası güncel ve sade yazım kurallarına uygun formatta hazırlanmalıdır.

·       Makale yapısı

Makaleler Microsoft Word formatında hazırlanmalıdır. Yazılar 12-point font ve çift aralıklı olarak hazırlanmalı ve aşağıdaki bölümleri içermelidir.

1.              Giriş sayfası,

2.              Başlık sayfası,

3.              Özet,

4.              Metin (Text),

5.              Bilgilendirme

6.              Kaynaklar

7.              Tablo, şekil ve resimler.

Giriş sayfası aşağıdaki kısımları içermelidir;

·                Başlık;

·                Yazar isimleri,

·                Yazışma adresi, telefon ve fax numaraları.

·                Kongrelerde sunulmuşsa, sunu adı, kongre adı, tarih ve yeri.

·                Yazarların ünvanları,

·                Yazarların E-posta adresleri.

Makale başlığı pek çok indeksleme sistemi tarafından referans olarak alındığı için konu içeriğini yansıtacak şekilde Türkçe ve İngilizce olarak dikkatle hazırlanmalıdır.

Özet hem Türkçe hemde İngilizce olarak hazırlanmalıdır. Kolay anlaşılır olmalı ve medikal tarama (index) sistemleri tarafından kolaylıkla algılanabilecek yapıda olmalıdır.  Özetlerden her biri (Türkçe veya İngilizce) 250 kelimeyi aşmamalıdır. Bütün özetler; Amaç, materyal ve metod, sonuçlar ve çıkarım (conclusion) içermelidir. Vaka sunumları  ve derleme yazıları da yukarıdaki formata uygun olmalıdır.  

Anahtar kelimeler; İndekslemeye uygun ve en fazla altı adet anahtar kelime olmalıdır.

Makale giriş, materyal ve metod, sonuçlar ve tartışma bölümlerini içermelidir. Giriş bölümü yapılmak istenen çalışma ile ilgili mevcut durumu açıklayan ifadelerden oluşmalıdır. Materyal ve metod klinik ve deneysel çalışmalarda kullanılmalıdır. Materyal ve metod bölümünde çalışmanın türü, materyalin özellikleri, varsa süre, istatistiksel metodlar, etik durum ile çalışmadan çıkarma ve dahil etme kriterlerini içermelidir.
İstatistiksel metodlar detaylı olarak tanımlanmalıdır.  

Kısaltmalar Index Medicus’ta geçtiği şekilde kullanılmalıdır. Dergimizin kısaltması "J Surg Arts" olarak yazılmalıdır.
Kaynaklar metin içerisinde geçtiği sıraya göre numaralandırılmalıdır. Yayınlanmış veya kabul edilmiş makaleler kullanılmalıdır.  Bu amaçla " Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals: Writing and Editing for Biomedical Publication Updated February 2006" kurallarına uyulmalıdır.

Örnekler, Makale için:

İşler M, Bahçeci M, Aygündüz M, Katırcı S, Özelsancak R, Koçer M ve ark.: Non-ülser dispepside Helikobakter pilori eradikasyonunun semptomlara etkisi. Gastroenterohepatoloji, 2001;12(1):13-18.

Yazar sayısının altıdan fazla olduğu durumlarda, altı isimden sonra “-ve ark.” ifadesi eklenmelidir.

Resim, Şekil ve Tablolar; Kullanılan materyal Resim, Şekil ve Tablo olarak ifade edilmelidir. Resim ve şekiller orijinal ve -.jpg formatında olmalıdır.  Başka kaynaklardan alınan resim ve şekiller için yazılı izin alınmış olmalıdır.  Tablo başlıkları tablonun üzerinde olmalıdır.

Etik; Bilgilendirilmiş onam ve Lokal etik komiteden alınmış izinler makalenin materyal ve metod bölümünde ifade edilmelidir.

Manuscript submissions

 

·       All manuscripts should be adviced to send by online (firt suggestion) submision (See “online submission”), if not possible, then by e-mail or via post (PK:113     54100, Sakarya/Turkey).

·       By e-mail submissions; All documents (Manuscript, figure...) should be prepared and submitted by e-mail. a covering letter should be include a declaration as follows;

Dear Editor,

We have been prepared and submitted a manuscript  titeled “……… ……… ………… ……… ……..”  according to Instructions to authors. All ethic, legal and scientific resposibility are belong to us.

·       All documents could be send by e-mail to editor@cerrahisanatlardergisi.com  All documents should be attach to the covering letter as attachment. . Corresponding author should be add his address, GSM and e-mail in the covering letter.

·       Alternatively, paper submissions are also welcome by mail. All documents and manuscript should be prepared and submitted as triple sheets.

·       Please see Instruction to authors (Author guidelines) for more information.

 

Author Guidelines

·       Language

The official language is Turkish. Manuscript submission in English language are also welcome. Manuscripts in Turkish should comply with the Turkish Language Instituition thesaraus and foreign words, which are in daily use, shall be used in their Turkish form. Manuscripts in Turkish should comply with the Turkish grammar rules.

·       Manuscript structure

The submission file should be in Microsoft Word format. The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

The article is consisted as follows;

1.              Cover page,

2.              Title page,

3.              Abstract,

4.              Body,

5.              Acknowledgements,

6.              References,

7.              Tables and figures.

Cover page should include the following;

·                Title of the manuscript;

·                Author(s) name(s),

·                Corresponding Addresses, phone and fax number.

·                Previous publication of the manuscript in a congress or meeting

·                The highest academic degrees and affiliations of all authors

·                E-mail addresses of all authors

The title page includes only the title of the study. It should be carefully chosen because most of the indexing systems are based on the title and it should represent the contents of the article.
The abstract should be prepared in Turkish and English. The aim is to make things easy for the reader and the medical search systems. The English abstract should have the English title of the manuscript. It should not exceed 250 words in both languages. All the abstracts should maintain an objective, a material and method, results and a conclusion. The case reports and review abstracts should be prepared as above.
Key words; Following the Abstract, list up to eight key words or phrases for indexing.

The body consists of introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion. The words " patients and methods" can be used for clinical trials whilst the "material and methods" can be used for animal and laboratory research trials. The introduction states the problem that led to the study, including a concise review of only the relevant literature. In the materials and methods section describe the study design (prospective or retrospective, inclusion or exclusion criteria, duration of the study) and the study population (types of animals, demographics length of follow-up).
The statistical methods should be described in detail.

Abbreviations of the names of the journals should confirm to Index Medicus. The journal's title is abbreviated as "J Surg Arts".
References number should be sited in the order they appear in the text. The journal encourages the use of Turkish publications as references. The published article or accepted articles can be used as reference. Use " Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals: Writing and Editing for Biomedical Publication Updated February 2006" for standard format.

For examples, Articles in Journals:

List all the authors but if the number exceeds six, give six followed by et al.

Unpublished conference papers should not be used as a reference.
Figures and Tables; The photographs, graphics and drawings are named "figure". The figures should be original and prepared as .jpg format. Figures published elsewhere should be submitted with a written permission of the original copyrigth older. The table headings should be on top of each table.

Ethical issues; Informed Consent Manuscript reporting the results of experimental investigations on human subjects must include a statement in the Methods section that the institutional review board has approved  The project and/or the informed consent were obtained from all adult participating subjects and from parents. The author(s) should state the accordance to the international guidelines.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
